STOMPer Ivy just moved into Block 687B Choa Chu Kang Drive and wonders if the owner of this car can afford to pay the fines issued for parking at the loading bay in the area daily.
In an email to STOMP on 11 Nov, she wrote: “I thought it was illegal to park in the area because it is a loading bay and double yellow lines.
“I am just wondering how he (the driver) can do it inspite of the tickets issued to him.
“I have seen several tickets being issued to him and from what I understand, it is $100 each time.“He was even issued four tickets in a week once. How can he afford it?
“This morning, I saw the parking attendant issue him yet another ticket, yet he still continues to park his car there from 7am to 7pm.
“He does not even display his road tax!
“I have even checked his parking offences online for the month and they showed that he has already been fined at least $100 twice and $30 once.”
