Hawkers at Yew Tee MRT
There are a group of hawkers selling cooked food outside the Yew Tee MRT station in the morning every morning since the pasar malam begins about 2 weeks ago. Actually, they showed up whenever there is a pasar malam. First there was one stall, now there are a whole row of them.
Are these hawkers allowed to sell at this location in the morning?
If the foods they are selling caused food poisoning - who is to be held responsible? The pasar malam operator or the pasar malam organiser or the NEA or whoelse?
The Town Council is not responsible because it is not the organiser of the pasar malam.
The pasar malam organiser is not responsible as the hawkers are not selling within the boundry of the tent / or the sellers are not from the food stalls.
NEA is not responsible because they thought these hawkers are part of the pasar malam.
People who bought the foods have themselves to be blamed.

Yew Tee on Christmas Day 071225
A walk around the neighbourhood on Christmas morning ...
I started at 6.20am from my flat, in less than an hour, these are what I found.
Out-of-order street lights, wall lights, ceiling lights ... some more than a month.

Adverstising banner, after more than a month, it is still there.

It is actually easier for the Town Council to call up the advertiser to remove it rather than writing to LTA and BCA and did not carry out following-up action while the advertiser still enjoying the free advertising space.

Residents Corner ... light on overnight ... every night.
There should be a timer for the lights and fans to set the lights off at midnight.
